Bristol is a quaint, seaside college town. It is known as the home to the nation’s oldest 4th of July Parade, and the downtown streets are even lined in red, white, and blue. Both the Rhode Island public bus and university shuttle run from the downtown area to campus (although we still recommend having a car). Near Rt. 114/Hope Street students will find many of the coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs that are popular with their classmates. Along Rt. 136/Metacom Avenue students will find national chains like CVS, Walgreens, Stop and Shop, Subway, and Dunkin Donuts.

Bristol typically has the largest number of law students because of its convenience to the law school. (Commute: 5-10 minutes).
